ABOUT WHAT WE DO

Most generic ADHD support wasn't built for women in midlife.

This is different!

ADHD in women is frequently missed, misdiagnosed, or dismissed — because it looks different. Less hyperactivity. More internalised chaos. Decades of masking, people-pleasing, and quietly wondering what's wrong with you.

Add perimenopause and menopause — and the hormonal shifts that directly affect the dopamine regulation your brain relies on — and midlife can feel like everything unravels at once.

The Female ADHD Network exists because most ADHD support ignores this reality entirely.

That's why everything we offer is built specifically around five essential ingredients midlife women with ADHD actually need:

Understanding & reframing ADHD

Evidence-led ADHD education grounded in how it shows up in women — not the textbook version built around hyperactive boys. Finally, an explanation that fits your experience — and helps you rewrite the story you've been telling yourself for decades.

Compassionate ADHD-friendly systems & tools

ADHD-friendly tools that work with your brain, your hormones, and your actual life. Not rigid routines. Not willpower. Practical, flexible support that holds even on hard days — so you can finally stop white-knuckling through and start actually living

Reclaiming your midlife

Define what you really want now, set ADHD-friendly goals, and build your personal Reset Blueprint™. Because midlife isn't the end of possibility — with the right map, it's where possibility finally begins.

Find your people

A community of midlife women with ADHD who understand the masking, the exhaustion, and the quiet wondering if it'll ever feel easier. No more apologising. No more pretending.

Coaching & mentoring

Compassionate coaching & mentoring, guiding you through the midlife ADHD rollercoaster — hormones, curveballs, busy seasons, emotional spirals… all of it.  emotional spirals… all of it. So you never have to navigate any of it alone.

Hi, I'm Clare

Certified ADHD Life Coach · Ex-Corporate Service Designer · ADHD Awareness Ambassador · Fellow ADHDer, diagnosed in my 50s

I know what it's like to spend decades wondering why everything felt that little bit harder. To be the capable, organised-looking woman who was quietly falling apart. To finally get an answer — and feel both enormous relief and a complicated grief for the years before it. If that resonates — you're in exactly the right place.

WHY I BUILT THIS

After my diagnosis in my 50s, I couldn't find the support I was looking for — warm, evidence-led, and honest about what midlife with ADHD actually looks like. So I decided to create it myself.

I spent the majority of my career in the corporate world designing and improving services — and realised I could transfer those exact skills to build something I'd desperately needed. I blended that with my ADHD life coaching certification, my own lived experience, and everything I've learned from coaching women with ADHD across the globe.

Along the way I was invited to represent all UK employees with ADHD on a Corporate Diversity & Inclusion agenda — and later became one of 10 ambassadors on a national UK campaign raising awareness of ADHD in women, which led to my story being featured in The iPaper, My Weekly, Liz Earle Wellbeing, and the Yorkshire Post.

CLARE TRIVIA

Yorkshire-based, married, with two adult kids — both of whom also have ADHD (yes, really).

When I'm not coaching, you'll find me doing yoga, walking our dog through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, travelling (Asia is my favourite), or reading with a cup of Yorkshire tea.

I never seem to finish the book though. Classic ADHD — sound familiar? 😄

Whether you're just starting to join the dots or ready to design what comes next — I'm so glad you're here.
